PUPILS in Years 4, 5 & 6 from Callow End Primary School spent a busy yet exciting day of dance at Welland Primary School last Friday. Also taking part were pupils from Welland and Malvern Wells Primary Schools. Workshops took place during the week, culminating in a presentation for parents on Friday afternoon. Callow End pupils presented Aborigine dances from Australia; Malvern Wells pupils performed native American dances; and Welland pupils South American carnival and Samba dances, all accompanied by drums and percussion. The children wore ethnic colours in their dress (T-shirts and jogging bottoms).
