THERE are a host of events taking place in the village over the festive season, the first of these is a Christmas fayre in the village hall on Saturday, December 9, starting at 4pm. There are all sorts of Christmas goods on offer, also tombola, bric-a-brac, mulled wine and mince pies, teas, raffle etc. Do come and join in the fun.
On Wednesday, December 12, don't forget the special Christmas whist drive in the village hall, starting at 8pm.
A date for your diary - advance notice of a gardeners' question time, when Reg Moule might just be the man to sort out all your gardening problems. This very popular event will be held on February 22, 2002, in the village hall. I will remind everyone of this event a little nearer the time.
