DAVID Fisher and Leon Williams of Wyre Piddle Red Devils are still in control of section 3A of the H20 Plum-bing and Heating Division.

After beating clubmates Cutters 5-0, they repeated the scoreline against nearest rivals Littleton Rockets.

James Byrne came closest for the Rockets losing 11-7 in the fifth to Fisher and 11-9 also in the final set against Williams.

Littleton Giants had 4-1 victories over Evesham Knights with Stephen Bennett undefeated and High School Eagles for whom Alan Chung beat Tim Haines 11-8, 9-11, 12-10, 2-11, 11-6.

Craig Pitcher lost in the fifth set to both Eleanor Lasota and James Byrne when Wyre Triplex lost 5-0 to Littleton Rockets. Zak Wilson beat Pitcher and Jon Monks when Evesham Knights entertained Triple X.

Stephanie Carver lost to the two boys but then, together with Wilson, took the doubles 11-9 in the fifth to take the match.

In section 3B, mother and son, June and James Coy, rattled up three 5-0 victories for Littleton Dolphins over clubmates Angels, Leopards and SDM Owls and remain undefeated and in second place in the division with two games in hand over leaders SDM Wizz-ards.

Sam Byrd, James Crennan and Andrew Bryant also had three 5-0 successes over clubmates Owls and Veela and Littleton Angels.

SDM Firebolts are chasing the two leaders hard and recorded three good wins, 4-1 over Blackminster Bullets and 5-0 over Littleton Angels and SDM Veela.

Spare a thought for the Veela's young Sarah Rich-ardson who has tried hard to get her side some points despite being let down by her teammates and playing the last two matches on her own.

Emily Carver beat Vicki Rigg and Laura Boggeln to help Evesham Cavaliers to a 3-2 win over SDM Owls, while Stephanie Beswick won her first singles in the league when she beat Liam Wilson in Littleton Dolphins' 4-1 win over the Cavaliers.
