Peter Vaughan G4TCQ from Worcester gave a talk with slides entitled Building and Operating the Elecraft K2 Transceiver.
This is a commercially-available radio in kit form from the USA which took Peter over 30 hours to assemble.
Four new members attended the meeting.
The annual Christmas socia evening takes place on Tuesday, and the first meeting of the New Year on January 8, is a talk by Rosemary Lyman entitled The Wartime Y-Service.
The society is now offering a year's membership free to anyone interested in radio, electronics or computers.
