The annual meeting was held in the parish room on November 12, when acting secretary Barbara Hughes gave an account of the year's events and president Brenda Banner thanked everyone for their support over the last three years.
Julia Rogers was voted in as president, and 14 members who applied to join the committee were elected.
Dallas Henderson reported on the anniversary dinner on October 22, Beryl Jackson on the flower arranging afternoon, and Patsy Anderson gave two reports, on the group meeting at Far Forest and the half-yearly council meeting at which she was delegate.
The competition for the Co-operative Cup was won in a combined effort by Iris Steadman, Beryl, Brenda and Patsy, Julia Rogers won the Points Cup. The next meeting will be on December 10.
