Guests from the West Midlands Federation and neighbouring guilds attended the 15th anniversary meeting when Colin Bowden, of the Royal Marines Band, gave a talk, with the aid of slides, on A Morning in the South Pacific on board the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Federation chairman Margaret Tew extended greetings to the group and an anniversary cake was served.
The next meeting at St Ambrose church hall will be on December 11 at 10.15am, when there will be Christmas entertainment and a bran tub, followed by Christmas lunch Gainsborough House Hotel.
