On November 20 Jane Morris gave a demonstration entitled Cookery Ideas for Christmas.
She created a range of dishes including a starter, main course, sweet and vegetarian options.
Chris Sollom read two items from the papers, then Sylvia Perkins reported that, in response to members' concerns, the proposed changes to the constitution had been modified.
Plans for the 2002 Golden Jubilee were discussed.
Lyn Linell won the "oldest thing in the kitchen" competition with an ancient tin opener.
The next meeting is the Christmas Party on the December 11 with accordionist Les Millward.
