A DEAL worth £1 million to provide a water treatment facility in London has been won by Kidderminster-based Purac.
The firm, which offers design and project management services, has clinched the contract to install the pressure filtration plant at Brixton Water Treatment works.
It is part of a Thames Water initiative to reduce ground water problems in the London basin.
Purac, of Birmingham Road, has been appointed by Costain, under an alliance agreement with Thames Water Utilities.
The plant is due to be commissioned in January.
