At the November meeting, members learnt how to make unusual Christmas tree decorations some using pasta.
Beth Corbett demonstrated how to glue and decorate pasta bows together to make an angel.
Larger angels were made from ribbon and Father Christmas faces were made from strands of wool on a ring and cones of paper.
She also showed how to make a gift bag using a small piece of card decorated with gold stars and holly leaves of green paper, or even small buttons.
Prior to the demonstration members had been reminded of the group carol service on December 7 and the Christmas dinner on December 11.
The competition for a home-made cracker was won by June Valencia.
