TWINNING ASSOCIATION: At the AGM held in October, no one volunteered to take up the vacant posts of secretary and treasurer. Concern was expressed that without them the committee would not be able to carry out their duties. It was agreed that a special meeting would be called and after discussions with several interested people and much publicity a new committee was formed. The vacant positions were filled from the present committee and it was agreed we would be more low key and undertake only visits and trips to our twin towns thus making less work for the committee in the organising of monthly events which were not well supported by members. We would endeavour to be present at the towns special functions to enable people to know of the association. The chairman undertook to write to all members with this information and also requesting membership fees due to be paid. To meet old members and introduce new ones it was suggested we hold a skittles evening after Christmas, this has been arranged for January 12 at Pershore Football Club at 7.30pm when the committee look forward to meeting everyone interested in twinning.
