Bromsgrove, the North Midlands Cup holders, have been given home advantage in the quarter-finals.

They made a jittery start to their defence with a 20-11 win at Bridgnorth in the first round and will now entertain either Telford Hornets or Old Yardleians at Finstall Park on December 30.

One quarter-final tie will be played on December 16 when Pershore will entertain Newport, last season's runner-up, as well as the other two outstanding first round ties - Camp Hill v Kidderminster Carolians and Dixonians v Aston OE. The winners of the Camp Hill v Kidderminster match will entertain either Dixonians or Aston OE in the quarter-finals on December 30.

The other quarter-final between Malvern and Luctonians will be played on December 30. Luctonians have a RFU Intermediate Cup tie on December 15.

In the North Midlands Shield, Stourbridge Lions and Dudley Wasps make their belated debuts in the competition after receiving two consecutive walkovers.

Stourbridge will entertain Warley on December 16 with Dudley Wasps visiting Ledbury on the same day.
