MALVERN'S Midlands One clash at Longley on Saturday will be won and lost in the front five, according to the club's Director of Rugby.

Dave Robins has made three changes to boost his pack with Steve Cooper in at front row for James Daniell, John Owen at second row for Duncan Short and Tony Garner for Olly Banwell at open side.

"It's going to be a tough game and if we are going to win it will be won in the front five and I've selected accordingly," said Robins.

In the backs Rob Young returns to the wing in place of Ben Hughes but Robins retains the centre pairing of Bo Kristofersen and Gareth Richards. Richard Flemming steps aside at full-back to make way for the return of captain Andy Longley.

Robins said he is looking to take four points from six for the fixtures against Longley, Banbury and Barkers Butts to ease relegation fears before the Christmas break.

"We've managed to haul ourselves away from the relegation zone but we are still too low for comfort and realistically we need to be picking up four points from six particularly as Banbury and Butts are both below us," he added.

n Droitwich travel to Stourport in Midlands Four West (South) making several changes from the side that lost at Solihull.

Andy Baxter comes into the second row for Tony Way who has a calf injury. James Wray stands in for unavailable skipper Jon Andrews in the back row.

Matt Blackmore moves to fly-half for the injured Simon Mountjoy, with Dave Halsall and Sascha Hobbs in a new partnership in the centre. Nick Grint returns at scrum half.
