I AM another unwitting person who was caught out by the two-hour parking restriction on the Crossley Retail Park, Kidderminster, which resulted in me paying a £40 fine.
Kidderminster has gone away from the days when visitors from places like Cradley Heath and Dudley felt that it was a town worth visiting to do their shopping.
Every year has seen a further decline in shopping facilities, so I was very pleased when the Crossley Retail Park came.
How sad that now it has opened, the powers that be think it necessary to impose a two-hour restriction to stop shoppers being able to browse and spend.
I don't think I am the only one who considers it unreasonable to be shopping longer than two hours.
What a pity the retailers are so short-sighted that they cannot see the obvious.
The retail park does not deserve to survive.
I was totally unaware of the parking restriction, and as a result I will take my custom to Merry Hill, where it is appreciated.
I wish the shops that introduced the Excel parking services a very quiet trade-free Christmas.
