I NOTE with interest the item in last week's Shuttle/Times & News which put forward the idea that Kidderminster's cinema plan should be put to a vote of all the rate-payers.

This is the correct way to proceed.

The original plan stated that there was to be a cinema with the historic piano building remaining in situ.

The plan now is a way to ensure that Centros Miller will demolish this building, as they appear to have planned all along.

It is time every ratepayer questioned the development of our town, because the district council have not made a good job of it.
