I AM writing regarding the toilet facilities in our town of Kidderminster.
I wanted to say how appalling and unsatisfactory they are. It is also difficult even trying to find a toilet that is open.
Last Sunday morning, a friend from Staffordshire needed to use the toilet urgently because of a medical condition.
We eventually found the toilets on the Safeway car park but after my friend had been in, he said: "These are pretty grim, not very nice at all".
When I visited my friend at Lichfield I needed to use public toilets and was pleasantly surprised.
They were clean, tidy and, in fact, the one I visited had been a "toilet of the year" finalist.
Our council could learn a lesson from them.
I would like to say last Sunday left me feeling ashamed and embarrassed at our town's facilities and how inadequate they are.
I dread to think what visitors to Kidderminster would think of our town.
