THE director of a Stourport building firm which was wound up three years ago, leaving debts totalling more than £350,000, has agreed not to serve as a company director for six years.
Stuart Eades, of Cherry Close, Bewdley, was a director of Charmlea Construction and Development Ltd, Astley Burf, when it went into voluntary liquidation in September, 1998 with 136 creditors.
A spokeswoman for Worcester-based liquidators Smith and Williamson, said under the new Insolvency Act, a company director could agree not to serve as a director.
