ARTISTIC groups in Redditch are being offered the chance to apply for grants to boost their success.
Money is being offered by Worcestershire County Council's arts service and applications are needed in before the end of January.
The First Base scheme offers start-up grants to new or existing community groups with an urge to sing, dance, perform, write, make films or follow any other creative pursuit that brings art into the community.
Up to £500 per successful application is available, with an average grant of £350, to be used to 'start the ball' rolling for future funding.
