THERE will be two days of fund-raising frolics at a Redditch pub to help send a young girl with Leukaemia on the trip of a lifetime.
Yasmin Cashmore, eight, of Headless Cross, was diagnosed with the disease last year. She has to attend hospital at least once a week and is receiving extensive chemotherapy.
She was donated bone marrow by her dad, Dave, but sadly the operation failed.
Keen fundraisers have already raised enough to send Yasmin to Disneyland, Paris, with her mum and grandma, but they also wanted to raise enough money to enable some of her friends to go with her.
And a Redditch pub has now answered the call for help and has vowed to raise as much money as possible.
The Mayflower Pub, Studley Road, will be hosting an entire weekend of fun events from Saturday, including pony rides, a barbecue, sponsored head shaves, a lorry pull, a disco, bouncy castle, a Christmas meat raffle, auction and a number of competitions.
