About £1,750 was raised in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief at a recent collection at the Redditch branch of Tesco.
Fund-raising manager Jon Rayner said the total raised over the two days was £1,747, which would make a substantial contribution to the charity's work in improving the quality of life of people with cancer.
