ONE of the best-loved Christmas tales will be brought to life by Alvechurch Dramatic Society next week.
Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is the heart-warming story of miserly Scrooge who learns the true meaning of Christmas.
The society will be performing the John Mortimer adaptation of the tale which preserves Dickens's original language and atmosphere.
It runs at Alvechurch Village Hall, Bear Hill, from Thursday, December 6, until Saturday, December 8, at 8pm.
Tickets cost £4.50 or £3.50 (concessions) from Alvechurch Post Office or on 0121 447 7071.
