DEAR EDITOR -- I would like to take this opportunity through the letters page to say a big thank you to the county and local councils for giving me so much more free time, as I can now take life at a much slower pace and have the time to sit and watch life go by.
It is okay for you, you might think, being retired (oh how I wish this was true). Sadly this is not the case. I am just one of the many frustrated motorists stuck in yet another one of the traffic jams caused by the roadworks currently plaguing Bromsgrove, and I am quite concerned that the 'red eyed monster' is breeding at an alarming rate.
Perhaps instead of spending their spare time writing to the local free papers about each other, the two local party leaders could do something about this situation.
