STUDLEY manager Mark Chambers was forced to reshuffle his pack for last night's 2-1 loss at Pelsall Villa after a rash of one week suspensions.

Defenders Martin Keight and Craig Gillett, flying winger Mark Neath and player-coach Trevor Whittington were all ruled out for the return to league action and midfielder Gavin Barratt faces a spell on the sidelines after damaging his knee falling over a wall while in Leeds for his graduation.

Kenny Fergie, Paul Harmer, goalscorer Rob Powell and Brett Fleetwood got their chance and with the FA Vase tie against Brigg Town looming Chambers expects them to be keen to secure a shirt.

Veteran midfielder Whittington is facing another ban after being sent off for foul language halfway through the first half of Saturday's Rameses Invitation Cup exit at the hands of Oadby Town.

After being reduced to ten men and going 2-0 down Chambers' troops took the game to the visitors with Craig Pountney hitting the underside of the bar and a post and goalscorer Steven Hands and Steven Duncan also hitting the woodwork in a 2-1 loss.

The Bees visit second from bottom Oldbury United, who are managerless, on Saturday (ko 3pm).
