SARAH Brooks (You Say, November 21) is very welcome at Worcester's twenty-first screen, set up in Worcester Art Gallery, above the library in Foregate Street, every Friday at 8pm.
Foreign-language films make up one-third of Worcester Film Society's current season, alongside the best of recent British and American independent cinema. Almost all the titles are being shown in the county for the first time. Worcester Film Society will screen Amelie when it becomes available to us.
Last Friday we screened Happy, Texas, an American comedy in a similar vein to Some Like It Hot. This Friday it's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (Something Happened In My Heart), the biggest Bollywood movie ever made. It was filmed in Scotland and has been seen by more than one billion people.
I hope Sarah tries Worcester Film Society - and helps us plan next year's programme.
ROBIN CLARKE, Kempsey.
