John Holmberg's Birmingham League Division Eight side came good with a 4-0 win over South Birmingham.
In board order, the winning team was David Dixon, Brian Drummond, David Richardson and David Pemberton.
All eyes will be on Holmberg this week to see if he can hold out in his adjourned game, against Kingstanding, to maintain his team's unbeaten record.
In the Worcester & District League, Redditch drew at Malvern.
Gary Jackson won on board 1 for Redditch and John Bowen and Mark Robinson both drew.
