BROMSGROVE Hockey Club Men's Thirds 0 Finchfield 1. The Thirds produced another disappointing performance against a disciplined Finchfield outfit.
Bromsgrove had high hopes of ending a run of seven straight DTZ West Midland Division One League defeats but could not produce the final ball to open the defence.
Finchfield were well organised and scored the only goal on 45 minutes after a mix up in the Bromsgrove back line.
The home side tried to force the equaliser but never looked like breaking Finchfield down.
By the final whistle Finchfield could easily have extended their lead, if not for the dogged determination of the Bromsgrove squad. They remain firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.
