FAIRFIELD travelled to Kidderminster and were beaten by a strong Brintons side in the Worcestershire County Premier Cup.
The visitors soon started playing some good football but it was Brintons who took the lead with a well taken goal from 15 yards.
Fairfield's good play was rewarded after 30 minutes when they equalised. Carl Downing found Paul Newbon who played the ball to Matt Mogg who beat a defender before unleashing an unstoppable shot from 18 yards.
Fairfield were unlucky not to take the lead on the hour when they hit the bar.
In the 75th minute, Brintons took the lead and then notched three more times in a ten-minute spell. Fairfield's performance was much better than the scoreline suggests.
