DROITWICH Sports struggled to get to grips with the pace of the game on Saturday with Littleton performing well and closing down quickly.
Two early misses from the Littleton forwards made Sports feel that luck may be on their side - but it wasn't to be the case.
The home side dominated the first half and forced a number of saves from Gary Watson. The resistance was broken in the 36th minute and Littleton made it 2-0 just before the break.
The lacklustre display from Droitwich continued in the second half and although Sports managed to claw a goal back from Andrew Docherty in the last minute, they never threatened to hit top gear.
