RESIDENTS got into the Christmas spirit on Saturday and helped raise £1,000 at a festive fair in Droitwich Spa.
Families flocked to the event organised by the town's Salvation Army branch.
Members were delighted to see their hall, in Ombersley Way, packed with residents snapping up bargains and supporting the group's building project.
The fund has been set up to raise a massive £250,000 to extend the hall, enabling the group to expand its work within the community.
The Christmas extravaganza was organised by Michelle Day and her husband, Graham.
Michelle said: "We were very proud of the snowy woodland walk grotto which impressed lots of visitors.
"Church members, people linked to the hall and passers-by all gave their support and made the day a great success."
