LITTLE sweetie Suzanne Richter was a star for a night when she switched on Droitwich Spa's festive lights.
Crowds packed the High Street to see the excited five-year-old and town mayor Maureen Lawley (Con, Droit.Central) at the grand event on Saturday.
The Nightingale Close resident won the Get Switched On competition organised by your No.1 community paper the Droitwich Spa Advertiser and the Droitwich Spa Association for Retail, Tourism and Services (DARTS).
We set out to find a special child to undertake the starring role, asking youngsters which pantomime character they would like to be and why.
We picked Suzanne Richter who wrote "I want to be Cinderella because she is lovely, good and kind to everyone and makes them happy.
"I want to be just like her."
Suzanne even dressed as her favourite pantomime character Cinderella to perform the festive ceremony.
