AVID Evening News readers Andrew and Tracey James have scooped the top prize in the latest of the paper's big win competitions.
The couple from St Peter's will now have their mortgage paid, up to a value of £3,000, for a whole year thanks to Birmingham Midshires.
The two, who have three young children, entered the competition by collecting ten different numbered tokens from the paper during a two-week period.
Out of 681 entries, the couple who never expected to win came up trumps and were said to be thrilled to bits with this massive financial boost. "They were a super couple - the prize couldn't have gone to anyone more deserving," said Sarah Taylor, promotions manager for the Evening News.
Readers can now collect tokens for the latest competition- the chance to win a new Rover 25.
