I agree with David Barlow's words (You Say, March 2) regarding the Railtrack debacle.
However, when it comes to selling the family silver, New Labour has continued in a very Tory-like manner. I recall the statements "read my lips our air traffic control is not for sale" which has now been partly privatised.
Then there was education, education, education - we are seeing more private companies running former state schools. So which party are the privateers?
