THE Worcestershire Cricket Society continue with their winter cricket evening on Tuesday (November 13).
The guest speaker will be Neil Mallender, who after a 17-year career with Northamptonshire and Somerset, was appointed to the First-Class Umpires list in 1999. He has already had experience of international cricket in some of the most sensitive matches last summer and was recently elected Umpire of the Year by the Professional Cricketers Association.
The meeting is in the Cricket Suite at the WCCC, New Road, Worcester, starting at 7.30pm. Entry is free to society members; £2.50 to non-members.
