THE Rev Penny Hamer conducted the family service at St James Church, Staunton on the first Sunday in November, All Saints Day. The lesson reader was Prim Goldring and the celebrant assisted by Ursula Groves-Smith during the celebration of Holy Communion. Margaret Riley was org-anist and Brian Claessen sidesman.
On Sunday, November 11 Remembrance Day we assemble at the church at 10.30am for the walk to the War Memorial in the church field. The service is at 10.45am for the laying of wreathes and the two minute silence which will be conducted by Canon John Evans followed by the service in the church.
