THE Act of Remembrance takes place this Sunday at the Callow End War Memorial at 2.30pm followed by a service in St James' Church when the preacher will be Canon John Campion, county chaplain of the Royal British Legion. Refreshments at the Old Bush will follow after the service.
A coffee morning in aid of St Richard's Hospice will be held at the Blue Bell Inn on Saturday, November 17 from 10.30am till 12.30pm. Any items for sale - crafts, brick-a-brac, cakes etc would be welcome. Contact Ann Conaboy.
