THE AGM was held on October 3 at the Village Hall, Studley. The new committee was formed with Mrs C Dyer as President, Mrs P Smith as Secretary and Mrs J Smith as Treasurer.
As the Institute no longer meets at lunchtime, it was agreed the group's name should change from Studley Lunchtime WI to Studley Daytime WI.
The competition shield was presented to Mrs B Briggs. Congratulations were offered to a member who had recently celebrated her golden wedding.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 7, at 2pm. New members will be welcome. Details from Mrs Christine Dyer on 853998.
