THE green light has been given to build six homes on land in Webheath despite objections.
The Leonard Cheshire Foundation, which runs the neighbouring Saltways Cheshire Home in Church Road, wants to build chalet style homes on the site.
But neighbours have objected to the scheme, saying they will lose privacy and fear extra traffic.
They also complained to Redditch Council that residents of the Saltways home for elderly people will lose a valuable recreation facility.
The planning application was passed by Redditch Council's planning committee last week.
