I FELT I must write to correct the impression given by the letter about the Bewdley superloo from Mrs Pat Jones (Letters, October 11).

As a resident for many years, in Dog Lane and Severnside North we can only talk about the lack of toilet facilities on the northern end of Bewdley.

Since the superloo was installed on the Dog Lane car park it has, in our opinion, been a huge success.

We often had to direct visitors to a toilet after they had parked their cars. Now they have the opportunity to use local convenient toilet provisions before they leave the car park to visit our beautiful town.

I say "well done" to the council for having the vision to install the superloo in Bewdley in the most frequently used car park.

The people of Stourport should not compare themselves with our facilities as theirs is a much larger town.
