Broadway's fire-fighters would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of their charity car wash on Saturday, when just over £1,150 was raised for the New York Disaster Fund.
Thanks to all those who brought cars to be washed, and to the many passers-by who made donations.
We are also grateful to a number of Broadway traders who supplied cleaning materials and refreshments.
Our special thanks must go to the manager and staff of the Swan Hotel who let us use their car park for this event.
