AFTER recent events, it appears Tony Blair believes himself to be an elder statesman in the world and held in high esteem.
So, politician to the end, he tries to make political mileage and tell us that joining the euro is the way forward.
How can he look President Bush in the eye and tell him the UK is his greatest ally, when, in his heart, he wants to turn his back on the USA and surrender us to being a meagre nothing in a federal state of Europe.
