WORCESTER Wolves seek a fourth straight win in the National Basketball Trophy when they travel to face Liverpool tomorrow (4pm).

The newly-promoted Wolves' success in winning their first three games in the competition, including a narrow one-point home victory over Division One rivals Liverpool last week, has taken even head coach Rick Solvason by surprise.

He said: "I am very pleased with the way we have performed so far. We didn't think we were going to win all three but all credit to the guys for playing well.

"Liverpool played us extremely close last week and on their own court they should feel confident, but right now we are pretty confident we can go up there and win."

Wolves should be at full strength with key forward Colin Chiverton expected to be fit, having sat out training this week to rest a back injury.

Exciting new Greek signing Fotos Maragrutus should again feature strongly, having come into the side for the first time last weekend and played a starring role in their double victory over Liverpool and Conference side Manchester.

Solvason added: "He has come in and done remarkably well. He has given us a lot of extra speed, and the crowd and players are taking to him."

Wolves are back in home action next Saturday (October 20) when they take on Teeside at University College Worcester with a 4pm tip-off.
