DAIRY and livestock farmers are being invited to a seminar aimed at giving specialist advice on farming after foot-and-mouth.
BK, the property assets company, is holding free talks across the region for any farmers in the sector.
Under the title Farming Post Foot-and-Mouth - Challenge and Change, expert speakers will focus on the options available to farmers and the implications of changing direction.
On Tuesday, October 16, the seminar will be held at Worcester Rugby Club at 6pm.
The meeting will be chaired by Richard Law, chairman of BK, who will give an overview of the situation relating to subsidies.
BK partners Gavin Loyes and Nick Millard will look at strategies to rejuvenate farm businesses and ADAS adviser John Allen will be assessing the future for meat and dairy production.
There will also be specialist advice from agricultural accountants on tax implications and the treatment of compensation payments.
Refreshments will be provided and there will be the opportunity to question the speakers.
