CLUB AC 30 lost their unbeaten record when they were defeated by the Bull Allstars in the Malvern Football League last Sunday.

The three points weren't enough for Bull Allstars to move up from their fourth position, however they remain only one of two teams unbeaten in the League following an impressive win over Club AC 30 by 3-1.

David Zakotti opened the scoring for the home side and they increased their tally through Jamie James and a John Pickering own goal. Aaron Parr was on target for Club AC 30.

Kempsey United continue to set the pace at the top of the Division as they recorded their fifth successive win over Morgan Aero 8. At Sling Lane Morgan Aero 8 dominated the opening 45 minutes and took a 2-0 lead at the break. Jamie Boswell collected his first brace of the season to give the home side the advantage.

The second 45 minutes saw the youthful Kempsey United out pace their opponents and they scored quickly after the interval through Steven Fear and were thankful for a hat-trick from Jamie Howston to record another 3 points in their first season in the Senior Division.

Bell Inn 98 returned to winning ways as they bagged all the points in their local derby against Fromes Hill. It was the two Tony's, Reynolds and Evans respectively who gave the Bell a 2-1 lead in the first half. Once they had been pegged back to 2-2 in this competitive encounter Bell Inn 98 had Leyton Thomas and David Beech on the scoresheet to record their fourth win in six to keep the Bosbury side in third position, only losing out to the two unbeaten sides in the League to date.

Talbot Head recorded their second win in successive weeks and their first home win of the season saw them defeat Old Bush Willie Thornes 2-0. This was never going to be a high scoring game with nine goals scored between them in competition before the game, however this evenly matched fixture saw opportunities for both sides and on 25 minutes some determined play by Graham Martin of Talbot Head saw him force his way past four opponents and fire the ball past the visitors keeper to give them a 1-0 lead at the break.

Talbot Head shaded the possession in the second half and 13 minutes after the interval Conrad Arnold slotted in number two and this ultimately settled the tie for the home side. The Upton-based side move up three places after this latest victory. Old Bush Willie Thornes will be hoping to return to winning ways when they face their local rivals Callow End Harriers this Sunday.

Interthornes will be rueing their lack of luck as they were defeated for the second time this season by Callow End Harriers. They succumbed to two penalties in the opening half, despatched by S Nightingale and Stock and further efforts from Steve Bloise and A Johnson to give Harriers a 4-0 lead.

In the second half G Lloyd secured the points for Harriers with the fifth goal of the game to record a 5-0 away victory.

This Sunday sees the first round of action in the Sunday Senior Cup, with three ties taking place.

In the Under 18s Youth Division, sponsored by The Soccer Site, Malvern Town continued their good run of form with a 4-1 away victory against Welland in blustery conditions last Sunday afternoon. Jamie Thackery however gave the home side a first half lead, until a goalkeeping error gave Dale Humphries the chance to equalise before the half-time interval.

In the second period and for the second home game in a row, Welland were undone by a direct corner which floated in to give Malvern the lead and further efforts from Alex Smith and Michael Cole midway in the second period saw them take a three goal advantage.

Welland had most of the possession in the closing 20 minutes but couldn't breakdown the Malvern defence who conceded their first League goal of the campaign in this encounter.

Libbery Wanderers collected their first win of the season at the expense of Warndon Youth after winning away from home by 8-2. Libbery Wanderers scorers were led by Law who collected a hat-trick, a brace each from Sorenson and Lewis respectively and one from Wade secured the three points.
