ALCESTER came alive with entertainment last week as the annual mop took place.
Hundreds of townsfolk packed High Street to enjoy the fun, which included numerous fairground rides for young children and the young at heart.
As well as the exciting rides, there was also the chance for people to try their luck on the shooting range and other competitions and to indulge in a hot dog, burger or hot pork roll. Alcester High Bailiff Bill Malin officially opened the mop.
