PUPILS from a Malvern school were treated to an archaeological adventure on the hills this week.
Archaeologist James Dinn, the parent of a youngster from St James' CE Primary, in West Malvern, took the whole school on a tour of the hills on Monday afternoon to help highlight a history project.
Starting at British Camp, the pupils were shown an Iron Age settlement as they trundled through changeable weather.
"It was part of their history studies of the local area and Mr Dinn is an invaluable source to have," said headteacher Christine Campbell.
"The children kept walking despite the weather and really enjoyed it. We also took plenty of photographs and will be doing follow-ups on the whole walk."
