Kidderminster Harriers fought off their away day blues to record a first win on their travels this season at gusty Macclesfield.

Colin Larkin's first-half winner claimed an important morale-boosting result for Harriers, who had previously gone eight games without a victory. Colin Larkin

Larkin had the chance to add further goals while home side Macclesfield produced a disappointing display that led to a chorus of boos from their fans at the end.

This win will hopefully reverse Harriers' slide down the Division Three table and they certainly deserved it with a hard-fought and improved performance.

And Larkin's winner should prove the perfect tonic for Harriers as they go into next Saturday's derby clash with Cheltenham.
