GOALKEEPER Brendan Murphy will make his Football League debut in Kidderminster Harriers' Division Three clash against Cheltenham Town at Aggborough tomorrow (3pm).

He takes over from Stuart Brock who starts a three-match ban for being sent off in the recent home clash against Swansea City.

Twenty-six-year-old Republic of Ireland Under 21 international Murphy, in his second season at Aggborough following a move from Dundalk, was formerly on Bradford City and Wimbledon's books.

He has only played for Harriers first team in one Worcestershire Senior Cup tie last season.

Kidderminster boss Jan Molby said: "We'll learn exactly how good he is tomorrow. He's been here a long time with us and he's still to make his Football League debut. There's no doubt he's got talent, so we'll soon find out."

Molby has yet to decide about whether to promote youth team keepers John Danby or Andy Hemmings to the subs bench.

Mark Blake will be serving a one-match suspension tomorrow for picking up five bookings and is likely to be replaced in midfield by Tony Bird, who was a substitute in last Sunday's 1-0 win at Macclesfield Town.

Central defender Abdou Sall has recovered from a chest infection and should be available for selection.

Molby, meanwhile, is warning his players to be on guard against Robins striker Tony Naylor tomorrow.

He believes the former Port Vale front-runner is a major threat to his side's bid to build on Sunday's welcome win.

Molby said: "They signed him in the summer on a free from Port Vale after scoring a lot of goals in the Second Division last season. It was a good signing and he's just starting to find his feet.

"He'll be a handful for anyone in the Third Division and I think he'd be the one to make them tick."

Molby is expecting Harriers to face a stiff test in a match that sparks memories of their rivalry when they were both non-league sides.

He said: "It obviously goes back to the old Conference days where there was a bit of rivalry between the two clubs and it's continued since we have got ourselves promoted into the Third Division.

"We had two very competitive games against them last season and we don't think for one minute it's going to be any different on Saturday. They have had a good run of late winning four of their last five games after a slow start to the season."
