FLOATING doorsteps, extendable walkways and airbrick covers will be among the flood-related products being showcased in Upton next month.
The town's first ever flood defence trade fair takes place on Saturday, November 3, from 10am to 4pm in Upton Memorial Hall.
Admission will be free, as stallholders will have to pay to show their wares. All profits will go to Upton Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA). Organisers Dave Walker and Peter Pantling got the idea from a similar fair in Bewdley.
The event coincides with the anniversary of last year's floods, which caused extensive damage to homes and properties in the town. Builders are still repairing the damage in some homes.
