AN art club will carry on its tremendous tradition when its 108th annual exhibition is celebrated tomorrow.
Malvern mayor, Coun Whinray Coates, will open Malvern Art Club's latest exhibition at a private viewing at 11am.
Visitors to Malvern Library will be able to see the fruits of members' artistic labours until November 3.
The club was originally founded by W A Mulligan, then headmaster of Malvern School of Art, in the late 19th Century. He wanted a way of providing senior students who had left the school with some kind of permanent association for the furtherance of artistic interests.
The club welcomes new members, and has a programme of events and activities throughout the year, with visits to galleries in London, Wales, Leamington Spa, and Derby.
The exhibition is open during library hours. For details phone 01684 561223, or Beth Barnes on 01684 566883.
