JAN Molby has admitted Kidderminster Harriers must clinch their first away win on Sunday to make up ground in the Division Three table.

The Harriers boss hinted he may turn to last weekend's "second-half team" at Macclesfield to halt a run of eight games without a victory.

Molby's men lost 2-0 to Swansea on Saturday but he was happier with the second 45 minutes after the interval introduction of Drewe Broughton, Danny Williams and Sam Shilton.

Harriers may also field key man Craig Hinton who was due to play for the reserves last night after time out with an infection.

Molby said: "We need to win on Sunday. I can always put a side out to draw 0-0 but to do that at Macclesfield would probably drop you further down the table.

"We have to build on the away draw at Hartlepool and work towards the second-half performance there.

"The changes in the Swansea game did improve things and the second-half team is probably the way we are going to go.

"People say if I'd put out that team in the first half, things would have been different but that was more or less the side that played at Shrewsbury."

The re-emergence of Broughton after his £70,000 move to Oxford collapsed could be crucial.

Molby admitted: "Drewe did a lot when he first came here and he was back to that on Saturday. He was a real nuisance.

"Swansea couldn't handle him and nor could Preston but in between there hasn't been a lot.

"Drewe would be the first to admit that -- his attitude has always been spot on. We need him playing well as he will not only score goals but help others score because he creates havoc."

Sunday's opponents Macclesfield have proved hard to beat with six draws but, like Harriers, have only recorded two wins.

Molby reflected: "After the improvements at Hartlepool and against Oxford, for some reason for 45 minutes on Saturday we produced as lacklustre a performance as we have all season.

"Macclesfield haven't lost a lot of games, they're well-organised. They will be thinking this is one they can win but then so are we.

"They have experienced players in Kevin Keen and Lee Glover as well as Kyle Lightbourne.

"But their squad is completed with youngsters - they are in the same situation as ourselves."

The fixture has been shifted to Sunday at 2pm due to the England game with Greece.

Molby declared: "All our players want to play in the Premier League one day so they have to be able to adjust themselves to different kick-off times.

"It means we have rearranged the week. They'll be training on Saturday. And if England get a result, it will put them in a good mood for our game!"

Veteran midfielder Paul Webb is staying at Hereford on loan for a second month.

The reserves visit Notts County next Wednesday (2pm) and the U-19s head to Cambridge United on Saturday (11am).
