TOURIST accommodation businesses in Wyre Forest can apply for financial help if they have been inspected in the wake of the foot and mouth disease crisis.
Any accommodation provider that has been inspected by ETC, RAC or AA since January is eligible for a one-off £100 grant as part of a £40,000 county-wide tourism boost.
The money, which has been obtained from Business Link (Shropshire) by Worcestershire County Council tourism officer Kathryn Wagstaff, will be available until the end of the year and businesses are eligible for the grant if they can prove they have applied to be inspected.
Accommodation providers in Wyre Forest can call the district council's tourism officer Maggie Booth for more information on 01562 732560.
